I had a great stay in the Standard Apartment for 5 nights. The room was cozy for 4 adults, but the balcony was a lovely bonus. The kitchenette was just enough for cooking simple meals, and the washing machine was super handy. Plus, the nearby supermarket made grocery shopping easy! 😊

Excellent apartment for 4 with a great kitchen.
During my stay, I was appalled by the lack of basic amenities. The cleaning was subpar, with dust evident on surfaces, making it clear that constant cleaning is necessary. Arriving to incomplete items like only one pillowcase for four guests was extremely frustrating, especially when I expected better organization and attention to detail. Additionally, the awkward drying options provided were ineffective and left my clothes needing to be washed again due to the stale smell.

The hotel was very clean and well-kept. You could get toothbrushes and other things from reception, which was super handy for us, especially with young kids! The washer in the bathroom was a lifesaver for our family

Hotel Mondonce had a great location, just a short walk from Kyoto Station. The room was comfortably sized with two double beds and a tidy kitchenette that made meal prep easy. I really appreciated the clean bathroom and laundry facilities. having a washer available was perfect for our stay. Staff at the front desk were welcoming, and navigating the local area was pleasant with charming backstreets nearby. The only drawback was the firmness of the beds, which may not suit everyone. Also, it might help to have clearer instructions in English for the appliances since the instructions were entirely in Japanese. All in all, the apartment suited our family's needs well with proximity to groceries and transport options.

staying at mondonce kyoto gojo was a delightful experience. the location was perfect, just a short walk to many great restaurants. our room was reasonably spacious with fantastic shower pressure. the close access to the train station made our trips so easy, especially to tokyo Disneyland. also, enjoying the clothes drying area in the shower was a great perk.
